Dear Parents
Over the coming weeks we have two very exciting events happening at Ascot. The first event occurs next week Friday. We will be having our annual House Colours Day. This will be an opportunity for students to win points for their respective houses, either the Titans, the Aztecs, the Vikings or the Trojans. They will be participating in a variety of creative, physical or academic activities. These activities will stress teamwork and collaboration. Please remember to have your child wear their house shirts on that very special day.
During the week of September 26th, Primary and Early Years will be celebrating Book Week. Students will be participating in a variety of reading and book related activities and contests. There will also be a book fair throughout the week which will provide and opportunity for students to purchase books. Primary will also have a visit from the famous story teller, Clive PIG . Teachers in Early Years will also be inviting parents into classes for a workshop on how to effectively read with your child. Details of these events will be shared with parents during the coming week.
