Dear Parents

I hope you and your family had a restful weekend. Last week at Ascot we celebrated our school and House spirit by participating in our annual House Colours Day. This was an opportunity for our students to compete in their houses for the coveted House Trophy.

The day was filled with many activities, games and House spirit. In the morning our students used their musical and artistic creativity to create House banners, flags and chants. Later in the morning the students participated in team building activities and games like Cross the Water and The Human Scavenger Hunt. After breaking for lunch the students continued with team building games such as The Human Knot and Giants, Wizards and Dwarfs. After the winning house was announced, Aztecs for the record, the students then celebrated the wonderful day with a class party.

The event was a great success and the students and teachers enjoyed themselves immensely. We would like to thank Mr. Williams for planning such a wonderful event and the House Prefects and Deputy Prefects for leading their houses in an admirable way. Finally we would like to thank our students' parents for providing the delicious snacks for the students to eat during our class parties. Everyone is now anticipating our next House event.
