Dear Parents

Happy Loy Krathong from all of us here at Ascot International Primary. Our students are all excited as they have just completed their assessments and have spent today celebrating Loy Krathong. The past few weeks have been quiet as the students have been working hard to be successful in their assessments. Our Keystage 1 students have also been practicing for their upcoming musical, Gnome Alone. They are excited to show off their acting and signing talents to everyone next week. This week we have a few reminders:

1. This Wednesday December 2nd will be our second curriculum presentation for parents. This presentation will be about our English and Literacy curriculum. It will be an opportunity for you to hear about what is taught to your children in class and how this curriculum is delivered to them in effective and successful ways. It will also be an opportunity for us to provide you with ideas and activities for you to support your child at home. The presentation will be held in the Primary Library at 8 am. If you will be attending please let your child's teacher know as spaces are limited.

2. Next week we will be having our annual Keystage 1 performance. This year the students will be performing the musical, Gnome Alone. The performance will be held in the school gymnasium on Thursday December 10th at 2 pm. We look forward to seeing the Keystage 1 parents there.

3. Next week report cards will be sent home on Thursday December 10th. The reports will include a QR code for accessing a soft copy online. This soft copy will allow parents to access links to support materials and information that they can use to help their child in areas where they may need support. Further information about these soft copy reports will be included with the reports that are sent home next Thursday.

If you have any questions about any of these items please contact your child's homeroom teacher. Thank you for your continued support and have a great week.
