Dear PY Parents
The first week of school has been very successful for our students. This week our students got many opportunities to meet and get to know their new teachers and learn about their teachers’ expectations. I would like to thank all parents for their support with making this first week of the academic year such a big success. There are a few items that we would like to remind you of:
- As of next Monday August 29th, the Primary Years building will be off limits to everyone except for teachers and students. Please drop your child off near the entrance to the PY building and allow them to walk in on their own. If you have to pick up your child please proceed to Reception and they will arrange for someone to pick them up and bring them to you.
- The school has started a No Hat/No Swim/No Play policy. This is to ensure that students’ are healthy and safely dressed to engage in play time activities. Please ensure that your child brings a hat to school every day. Also if your child is too sick to participate in their swim lessons please ensure that you provide a doctor’s note to your child’s teacher. Swimming is a vital life skill and an important part of our curriculum, so students are expected to attend every swimming class unless their health does not allow for it.
- Your child’s teacher will be sending a weekly email updating you on what your child has been learning and what they will be learning in the coming week. Please look out for this email every Friday.
If you have any questions about the items mentioned in this letter please contact your child’s teacher for clarification.Thank you for your continued support.
Best Regards,
Ascot International Primary School Team
